Snowboarding lesson in Japan with Shannon but the snow wasn’t that good.

So, on the first day, we got up and went to the Japanese restaurant for the buffet breakfast. The breakfast was good, and I got to eat white bread. Then we all went on the gondola and then snowboarded all the way down again, but the snow wasn’t good. Then I had to go to my snowboard lesson. I was in level five, and I got  a private lesson because there was only one other snowboarder taking lessons and she was just learning how to snowboard, and the snow was kind of crusty today. My teacher was named Shannon. First, we had to choose lunch and I chose a pork rice bowl. Shannon chose a cheeseburger. Then we took the gondola up to the top and did lots of black runs. Shannon said I was good at turning and going fast. Then he started teaching me how to switch which means snowboarding with the foot you’re not used to forward. He started off by teaching me how to do a 360 on a small slope, and then we started doing them on steeper hills and off the sides of walls. At around 12:30, we ate lunch. For some reason they put the cheese on top of the cheese burger. The pork bowl was very good and came with miso soup and some vegetables too. We kept on practicing switch, and by the end of the day I could connect two or three turns backwards. For dinner, we had a special sushi dinner which was very fancy. Acadian did not want to come so he got a ham sandwich and played video games the rest of the time until we got back. The sushi was very good and a chef made us smoked sashimi, soup, crab, and many other interesting dishes. For dessert there was a mochi like sweet and green tea. They also gave us round bottles filled with mountain water. THE END!!!!!!!!!
