The first day in Shibuya

So today we woke up, and Acadian had already woken up and had played video games for FOURTY FIVE MINUTES!!!!! So Mommy said I could have some video game time if I got all ready, and so I did but then Daddy took it away because I cleared my throat in a weird way and didn’t care to change. Daddy and I got into a big fight. Then we went to a Bonito place for breakfast, and we had to wait in the cold. I was coughing and so we went into a store and got me some cough drops, but the cough drops were really bitter. I ate one and we also bought a green tea and a milk tea from a vending machine. But when we looked at how long the line was, we realized that it curved around a flight of stairs, and we were barely moving so we went to a different restaurant called Saryo where we got some rice and sides and two tea parfaits. Then we explored the mall a bit, and Acadian wasted $18 on a tiny dog stuffy. Mommy also tried on some clothes but they didn’t look good. Then we shopped at Akomeya which was a “gourmet food store” for WAY TOO LONG and then ate some food at the bar there for lunch which was pretty good. Acadian and I shared a pork rice bowl. After that we went to a tax free stand and also tried to fix some problems with my train Suica card. Eventually we came back to the hotel room and that is where I am now, typing this blog. Mommy and Daddy are going to go to a tea place and Acadian and I are staying in the room because we are tired. THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Parfaits look HUGE. Sides look very interesting. Is this a ski vacation or a culinary exploration?

  2. Mmm, the food looks awesome! I'm glad to hear that you ate well, even if the skiing wasn't good.
