The Swedish Alps ermmm…. Switzerland Alps 😳

So, on the first day, we started hiking, but Bubby and I went and stopped at a goat farm that we thought was the lunch spot. Eventually, the rest of them caught up and Daddy said we have to always stop at an intersection or else we might get lost. After that, we always kept the rest of them in sight and made our way to the lunch spot where we had multiple flavors of a syrup-like drink, and a yummy potato, cheese, and ham dish called a “Rosti”. There was also a very fun swing that we played on before the food came and a little bit after we were done. Bubby and I went ahead to the wrong hut and ended up waiting for the rest of them to find the right hut. For dinner, we had soup, pork, and yogurt for dessert.
On the second day, Bubby and I went ahead again and waited at every intersection until we got to the lunch spot and ordered some food. We asked for pesto pasta, but I guess the waitress heard us wrong, because she gave me butter pasta. Grampy shared some of his tomato pasta and Mommy shared a lot of her food, which were both way better than what I got. After that, we went down to the lake and swam in the freezing cold water. Almost every one dunked their head in but Grampy didn’t want to swim. Once we were done, we dunked our shirts and hats into the lake so that we would be cooler on the hike up to the hut. Bubby and I made it there faster than a fit 40 year-old and started lying down in some hammocks. For dinner, we had Mac n’ cheese with beets and flowers, ginger carrot soup, and a too sweet chestnut cream. Before dinner and after dinner, Bubby and I both played the piano (although Bubby refused at first) and became famous. The hut was very rustic and had an outhouse as a bathroom which was unsettling.
On the third day, (you know the drill by now) Bubby and I went ahead to the lunch spot (which was very annoying because just As we thought we made it, there was another big set of switchbacks up to the hill. I got a hot chocolate because it was starting to get cold and Bubby got a kiwi syrup that he thought would be good, but turned out to taste like water. Since my Garmin watch was low on power, I had to ask for a temporary charger that charged my watch to 23%. For lunch, I got a sandwich that, on the menu said there was ham and cheese, but it was actually just one of the two with lettuce and mayonnaise. I asked to talk to the manager to change the menu after playing Dobble with Hannah and Bubby. Soon after, we started to hike in the rain to our new hut. Once we got to it… no wait I mean a ski resort, we took a little break for others to catch up and got to the hut with Eric and Hannah… no, sorry we got to a quadruple house that we thought was the hut and kept going. Now we finally got to the hut and there was a cute dog, but it was very shy and we didn’t get to pet it often. But the best part was that we got to go on triple bunks which were really high up and Hannah showed us a video game called Sneaky Sasquatch before eating dinner and going to bed.
The fourth and final hut day was torcher (you’ll get it later). It started off as Bubby and I went ahead and were talking about video games. At some point, Daddy said to put on our rain jackets because it had started to rain. Since we were very hot and tired, we said that it was refreshing and we didn’t need our rain jackets. Then, Moun came up and I wanted to take a picture on her phone because there was a nice view. At that point, it was really starting to rain and Daddy yelled at me to put on my rain jacket. I was soaked and at that point very cold so I decided to actually put it on then, but as it turns out, I had put it in the bottom of my pack and was getting soaked trying to get it. I finally got it and put it on, but my shirt was already too soggy and cold so I ended up shivering the whole time. To make things better, it started hailing! 😄 Since I didn’t have my rain pants on because I was in a rush to put my rain jacket on, the hail was nailing me right on my knees and it really stung. After it started to stop raining, I was freezing cold and Daddy helped me get my rain pants on so my legs didn’t get any colder, but it was to late anyways; my legs were cold and soaked. My teeth were chattering the whole way to the closest hut (not lunch) and when I tried to untie my shoelaces to put on my crocs (yes, every hut has crocs, Bubby’s dream come true) my hands were too numb and I had a very hard time untying them. I got a hot chocolate and and Moun got bouillon which Bubby and I stole from (the soup was very warm, we had to). I finally warmed up and changed out of my soggy clothes in the bathroom. We then put our rain gear on because it had started raining again and made our way to the lunch place. First, we stopped at a very muddy but ok temperature lake and Hannah and Eric swam in it. We then hiked a little more to the lunch spot and Daddy found some warm benches outside and we were greeted by two boys who cooked for us and served us. Bubby, Grampy, Daddy and I all shared a delicious Rosti that made everything else we ate before look like it came out of a dumpster. We continued hiking and finally saw a cliffside right when it started to hail. We figured the hut would be just around that cliff and eagerly hiked to the cliff. Before we crossed a waterfall, Eric gave us a handful of Haribo gummies which I shoved all of them into my mouth so they didn’t get wet and kept hiking. We finally got around the cliff and we had made it!… wait… why are there more cliffs…🎬 we went around another cliff and had finally made it! The place looked so am… ANOTHER CLIFF?! After about 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000… more cliffs, we finally made it! Ermm… to the road leading to the hut. Well, anyways, we finally made it and there were so many sheep, but in America, we call them caves. The name of the hut was La Tourche, but since it was so annoying to get there I renamed it “La Tourchertogetthere”.
